Dosage & Administration
Recommended Dosage (As per Veterinary Prescription)
ZOVECT™ Injection (Ivermectin 1.0%)
Cattle, Buffaloes, Sheep & Goats: 1 ml per 50 kg body weight via subcutaneous (SC) injection.
Horses & Pigs: 1 ml per 50 kg body weight via SC injection.
Dogs: 0.2 ml per 10 kg body weight (for mange, demodex, and worm infestations).
Administer once every 15-30 days, based on infection severity & vet recommendation.
ZOVECT™ Bolus (Ivermectin 80 mg)
For Large Animals (Cattle, Buffaloes, Horses): 1 bolus per 400 kg body weight orally.
For Sheep & Goats: 1/2 bolus per 200 kg body weight.
Administer as a single dose; repeat after 15-30 days if required.
Administration Guidelines:
Inject subcutaneously (SC) for maximum absorption.
Do not administer intravenously (IV) or intramuscularly (IM).
Bolus should be given orally with plenty of water.
Follow withdrawal periods before using milk or meat for human consumption.
Precautions & Warnings
Do Not Use in Weak or Stressed Animals – May cause severe reactions.
Avoid in Pregnant & Lactating Animals Without Veterinary Guidance.
Possible Side Effects – Mild swelling at injection site, itching, lethargy, or drooling.
Meat Withdrawal Period – 21 days for cattle, 28 days for pigs.
Milk Withdrawal Period – 7 days (consult veterinarian for dairy use).
